It was an honour and privilege to take part in the “Battle of the Stylists” charity event on Thursday 18th May. The event was coordinated by the wonderful Sparklets charity committee, raising money for Cancer Research UK.

The battle put four stylists up against each other with the audience choosing the winning outfit… The other wonderful fashion mavens were Alice Olins, Sara Segal (Personal Stylist London) and Mich and Mel from Ripped Jeans and Prada. We were given three keywords to create wearable, on trend and stunning outfits – Monochrome, Romance and Utility.

Of course, I had great fun picking my model and then storming around the high street for the most amazing pieces for which fit the criteria…

The evening was nerve racking but fun and fast moving – I am never a great public speaker but when it is about fashion (and fuelled by a strong mojito) I cannot help but be enthusiastic…
